Fans filled the bleachers in support of the women's and men's basketball teams on Saturday, January 6, as they took on the Windsor Lancers in the first home game of the New Year.

The women's team lost 71-60 against the Windsor Lancers. With the Lancers leading for the majoirty of the game, the ladies had a late game push but fell short in their comeback attempt. Despite losing, Nicole Morrison scored 25 points with a majoirty in the second half of the game.

The men's team took a 98-91 victory over the Windsor Lancers to break their five game losing streak. With a high engery game on both sides, the score was evenly matched throughout the contest. The Hawks didn't fold under pressure and were able to end up on top.

The energy in the stands of the AC matched the players as the fans rooted on their Golden Hawks. One fan stood out from the crowd, cheering on both our women's and men's team. Alfred Green supported our teams all the way to the nail-biting end. He is going home as Wilf's Fan of the Game taking with him a t-shirt and gift certificate to Wilf's.

Be sure to check out for any upcoming games where you have the chance to go home as Wilf's Fan of the Game.
