THE LOW DOWN
Winless through their first three games, the Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks (0-0-2-1) will shoot for their first win this weekend when they take on the York Lions (0-0-4-1) on the road and the No. 8 Guelph Gryphons (1-0-3-0) on home ice.

NEED TO KNOW
- the Hawks broke their season-opening goalless drought at 170 minutes and five seconds when Jaden Head got Laurier on the board in the third period of their last game against the Warriors
- both York and Guelph have also struggled to start the season with the Lions going winless in five games while the Gryphons, the defending OUA Champions, have lost three of their first four games
- Laurier has lost their last two games against the Lions
- Guelph has won the last three meetings with the Hawks

PLAYERS TO WATCH
Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks (0-0-2-1)

G Hannah Miller (Georgetown, Ont.)
- the rookie netminder is expected to get her second start of the season this weekend after posting a shutout in her first career start against Ryerson

F Jaden Head (Whitby, Ont.)
- second year forward has shown plenty of speed and skill through the Hawks first three games and is responsible for their lone goal this season

York Lions (0-0-4-1)

F Taylor Davison (Oakville, Ont.)
- the second year forward has been a bright spot for York in their winless run to start the season with a goal and two assists in five games

No. 8 Guelph Gryphons (1-0-3-0)

F Kelly Gribbons (Port Elgin, Ont.)
- the fifth year senior is playing at a point-per-game pace for the Gryphons with two goals and two assists through four games
