BURLINGTON, Ont. (November 2, 2017) - Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks men’s soccer defender Tahrik Rodriques was named an OUA All-Star for the third consecutive season on Thursday as the conference named its major award winners and all-stars.

Rodriques, a native of Scarborough, Ont., was named to the OUA West First Team for the second straight year after helping Laurier to a 4-7-5 record.

He started on the backline for 15 of the Hawks’ 16 games, contributing one goal to give him five for his career with the purple and gold.

Rodriques becomes the first Golden Hawk to be named an OUA First Team All-Star in consecutive seasons since Alex Doma was honoured in 2008 and 2009.
