Looking to get involved with Laurier Brantford Athletics and take on an amazing coaching opportunity? Laurier Brantford is looking for volunteers to train and coach our Extramural teams through their 2016-2017 seasons! Currently hiring for Co-ed Dodgeball, Co-ed Volleyball, Co-ed Indoor Soccer and Men’s & Women’s Ice Hockey, this is a great opportunity to gain volunteer hours working directly in a head coaching position.

Under the guidance and supervision of the Rec Program Coordinators and the Coordinators of Fitness & Lifestyle Programs, commitment will be required for, but not limited to, try-outs and variable practices along with a minimum of 3 off-campus tournaments throughout the school year. Our Extramural teams compete within the OCCCR (Ontario Colleges Committee on Campus Recreation) against other Colleges and Universities in Ontario.

Wilfrid Laurier University endeavors to fill positions with the best available candidates who have the appropriate combination of education, experience, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of a coach.

Team try-out’s will begin this Wednesday, September 21st 2016 but will continue until the middle of October. Please e-mail any questions or inquiries about the volunteer coaching positions available to Megan Jacklin, Coordinator of Fitness & Lifestyle Programs at mjacklin@wlu.ca.
