Cornwall honoured as Athlete of the Week
Adam Cornwall receives recognition after he shone in his first CIS Track and Field Championships

WATERLOO, Ont. (March 14, 2016) - Men's middle distance athlete Adam Cornwall of St. Mary's, Ont., is the Laurier Bookstore's Athlete of the Week for the week ending March 13, 2016.

In his first appearance at the CIS Track and Field Championships, the fifth year athlete finished in sixth place in the 3,000m race. Cornwall, a kinesiology and physical education major, posted his second-fastest time of the season of eight minutes, 22.91 seconds. His outstanding first appearance at the national event was also the first time Laurier has had representation at the national track and field championships.

This is Adam Cornwall's second time being honoured as Laurier Male Athlete of the Week.
