MLAX suffer double overtime loss to Nipissing
Golden Hawks lose tough game 14-13 to Lakers

Laurier Men’s Lacrosse battled Nipissing University in double overtime on Saturday. The Hawks played tough the entire game losing 14-13 in double overtime.

The Hawks were up 3-2 after the first with goals from Connor Bullock, Chris Van Ooteghem and Jordan Bennett. Jordan Bennett had another goal in the second quarter and Connor Bullock had two more goals with the score 6-6 going into the half. 

Laurier had the first goal from Chris Van Ooteghem going into the third quarter. Nipissing had another goal right after. The Hawks fought back and forth in the third quarter against Nipissing. 

Laurier dominated the fourth quarter with three goals leading to overtime with a score of 12-12. In the first overtime Keir Thornborrow score the one and only goal and the Hawks were now up 13-12 going into double overtime. Nipissing had two unanswered goals in the second overtime with an unfortunate loss for the Golden Hawks 14-13.
