PD Day Camps - April PD Day Camp
PD Day Camp Program Information - April 13th 2018
Athletics and Recreation is excited to be offering PD day programming facilitated by Laurier students and athletes! Children will enjoy the day off using the Laurier gym, pool, climbing wall and other exciting facilities where your very own Golden Hawk Athletes play and practice.
A low ratio of staff to campers will see that sports and activities reach the height of professionalism, quality in sport instruction, and of course, fun! Each sport and activity session will emphasize skill development and team work, as well as offer both competitive and non-competitive opportunities. Sports and activities include: rock climbing, swimming, squash, basketball, soccer, dodgeball, and small group games!
**Please ensure your child comes to camp with a nut free lunch, running shoes, a bathing suit and towel.
Home Location: Wilfrid Laurier University Athletic Complex- (Drop off/Pick up location) - 75 University Ave West, Waterloo (Corner of King and University)
Hours of Operation: 9:00am - 4:00pm
*extended hours available from 8:00am - 5:30pm, please select this additional option during registration. $8 flat fee per child, per day.
Age of Participants: 5 years - 12 years old.
Ratio of Children to Staff: 1:8
PD Day Fee: $45 per child, $8 for extended care
Refund Policy and Notes
In the event that you cancel your child’s camp session, a minimum of 10 days notice prior to the start date of the camp is required for a refund, less a $15 administrative fee. Should you fail to give 10 days notice, you will be required to pay the full camp fee.

Participants are expected to read the Assumption of Risk below: I realize that participation in athletic and fitness endeavors entails the risk of personal injury. Such risks may include, but are not restricted to slips, Winters, physical contact with other people, equipment or facilities, later accidents or abnormal climatic conditions. I accept and assume all such risks, dangers and hazards and the possibility of personal injury, death, violence, property damage or loss, attendance and participation in activities provided by the Department of Athletics and Recreation. I accept my responsibility to abide by the laws of the country, to ensure that I have adequate medical coverage, protect personal possessions, and obey all the rules set out for athletic and recreation activities. I accept full responsibility for my level of participation and use of equipment by exercising my judgment, based on my own experience and competence. In consideration of approval to participate in such activity, I and any personal representative, hold harmless, release and forever discharge Wilfrid Laurier University and Department of Athletics and Recreation, their directors, officers, faculty, staff, students, volunteers, agents, trainees, or employees from any and all actions, causes of actions, claims, and demands for damages, loss or injury, resulting from or arising out of my participation in such activities. I also indemnify and save harmless Wilfrid Laurier University and Department of Athletics and Recreation from any and all actions, causes of actions, demands, expenses or losses whatsoever which they may bear as a result of my participation in such activities, by reason of damage to any and all property and any and all personal injuries, including death of others or myself.
