ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Female basketball players aged 8-15 years from the Waterloo region are invited to participate in FIVE ACTION PACKED DAYS of basketball drills and competitions.
Laurier’s Girls Basketball Summer Camp provides young athletes with the chance to improve their skills in a fun and challenging atmosphere.
Each player is given special attention with a maximum coach to player ratio of 1:10.
Participants are grouped in divisions based on age, skill and playing ability for both instruction sessions and games.
Camp (Pickup/Drop off location) takes place at the Wilfrid Laurier Athletic Complex (corner of King St. and University Ave. in Waterloo).
All players will receive a reversible jersey and a basketball.
Each player is given free admission to all of the Golden Hawk Women’s Basketball games for the 2017-2018 season!
Instructors - The camp coaching staff is composed of current university players and Laurier’s basketball coaching staff.
Enrollment is LIMITED!! Registration is on a first come first serve basis and to ensure athletes receive individual attention, we are limiting registration.
Refund Policy and Notes
In the event that you cancel your child’s camp session, a minimum of 10 days notice prior to the start date of the camp is required for a refund, less a $50 administrative fee. Should you fail to give 10 days notice, you will be required to pay the full camp fee.
Please make all cheques payable to: WILFRID LAURIER UNIVERSITY. All fees and information must be completed before your application will be processed. Wilfrid Laurier charges $25 for NSF Fees.
Liability Waiver to be read and agreed to during registration:
I give my permission for my daughter to participate in the Girls Basketball Camp. We will not hold liable the camp directors, counselors, staff, Wilfrid Laurier University or their staff for any personal theft, illness, or injury sustained while attending.
As per the Personal Health Information Protection Act, filling out an OHIP number on a camp application form is voluntary. Should a parent or guardian choose not to supply this information, they should be reachable in the event of an emergency. OHIP Numbers and Medical Information/Allergies are asked for at the checkout process. If you need to supply more information, please email us at email@example.com

Such risks may include, but are not restricted to slips, Winters, physical contact with other people, equipment or facilities, later accidents or abnormal climatic conditions. I accept and assume all such risks, dangers and hazards and the possibility of personal injury, death, violence, property damage or loss, attendance and participation in activities provided by the Department of Athletics and Recreation. I accept my responsibility to abide by the laws of the country, to ensure that I have adequate medical coverage, protect personal possessions, and obey all the rules set out for athletic and recreation activities. I accept full responsibility for my level of participation and use of equipment by exercising my judgment, based on my own experience and competence. In consideration of approval to participate in such activity, I and any personal representative, hold harmless, release and forever discharge Wilfrid Laurier University and Department of Athletics and Recreation, their directors, officers, faculty, staff, students, volunteers, agents, trainees, or employees from any and all actions, causes of actions, claims, and demands for damages, loss or injury, resulting from or arising out of my participation in such activities. I also indemnify and save harmless Wilfrid Laurier University and Department of Athletics and Recreation from any and all actions, causes of actions, demands, expenses or losses whatsoever which they may bear as a result of my participation in such activities, by reason of damage to any and all property and any and all personal injuries, including death of others or myself.
