WATERLOO, Ont. (November 14, 2017) - The Wilfrid Laurier figure skating team has been hard at work in preparation for their upcoming competition next week. The competition will be hosted by Carleton University in Ottawa and will take place on Thursday November 23rd. Many of the skaters on the team will be competing in a wide range of events including free skate solos, similar dance pairs, free skate pairs and individual pattern dance.
The team’s coaches, Victoria Bernardo, Jackie Maciukiewicz and Tyler Morris have been putting in many hours to ensure that the team will be ready to give off their best performance as they compete against nine other university skating teams.
