NEED TO KNOW
This weekend will see the Laurier Golden Hawks men’s soccer team battle two familiar opponents. The first game will be a home game at University Stadium against York, whom the Hawks lost to the previous weekend 4-0. The second affair will take place against crosstown rival, the Waterloo Warriors, who the Hawks have yet to face this season.

York and Waterloo occupy two middle positions of the OUA West standings. The Lions are currently in fifth place with six overall points while the Warriors with three points are tied for sixth. While the Lions are coming off a victory (against Laurier), the Warriors are coming off a loss having been defeated by Algoma 3-2 on Sunday. Both teams will face off against the Hawks who are winless on the year and in last place in the standings.
