Two other Hawks also finished in double-figures, including second year guard Irena Rynkiewicz of Mississauga, Ont., who scored a career-high 16 points while adding five rebounds and three blocks.

On the other side of the ball, Emily Tinnes of Newmarket, Ont., led the way for Laurentian finishing with 14 points and a game-high five steals.

The two teams played each other close through the opening 10 minutes of the contest as Laurier held a narrow 20-16 margin after the first quarter.

In the second, the Hawks managed to take control of the contest thanks to an impressive 18-4 run to close the half. The run was capped by a pair of three-pointers from SARAH DILLON of Welland, Ont., and Morrison as Laurier led 45-27 at the break.

Laurier opened the third quarter continuing to hit the three-ball as Rynkiewicz, Dillon and Schenck connected on three consecutive possessions to build the Hawks lead to 28.
