THE LOW DOWN
Entering the final weekend of play in 2016, the Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks (5-2) have a good chance to pick up a pair of victories against a pair of winless opponents in the Laurentian Voyageurs (0-6) and the Nipissing Lakers (0-6) this weekend.

NEED TO KNOW
- the Hawks will be looking to return to the win column this weekend after suffering a loss to the No. 5 Windsor Lancers to close play last week
- Laurentian and Nipissing have yet to find the win column in 2016-17 with each team suffering losses to the Ottawa Gee-Gees and Carleton Ravens last weekend
- Laurier has won seven straight meetings with the Voyageurs dating back to the 2009 season
- the Hawks have won their only two meetings with Nipissing since their program joined the OUA in 2014, winning by an average margin of 29 points
- Laurier enters the weekend tied for second in the OUA West division with five wins
