WATERLOO, Ont. (May 10, 2016) - Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks women's basketball guard NICOLE MORRISON has been selected to represent her team as a part of this year's OUA All-Star Game.
NICOLE MORRISON of Hamilton, Ont., was selected for the All-Star game following her third year with the purple and gold this past season when she posted 15.6 point per game to earn her the sixth rank in the OUA.
The third year communications studies student will play under Coach Andy Sparks of the University of Ottawa Gee-Gees and face the opposing team led by Coach Carly Clarke of the Ryerson Rams.
Joining Morrison on Team Sparks will be Keneca Pingue-Giles (Winipeg, Man.)of the Ryerson Rams; Robyn Pearson (Toronto, Ont.) of the Queen's Gaels; Catherine Traer (Chelsea, Que.) of the Ottawa Gee-Gees; Krista van Slingerland (Waterloo, Ont.) of the Ottawa Gee-Gees;Bridget Atkinson (Welland, Ont.) of the Guelph Gryphons; Melissa Tatti (Ancaster, Ont.) of the Brock Badgers; Abena Addo (Brampton, Ont.) of the Toronto Varsity Blues; and Keyira Parkes (Scarborough, Ont.) of the Toronto Varsity Blues.
The ninth-annual All-Star game will take place on Saturday, May 14th and will be hosted at the Queen's University Athletics and Recreation Centre with free admission. The game is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. and can also be viewed live on OUA.tv
