Winners of three of their past four games, the Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks (6-5) prepare for two crucial divisional games this week as they host the Windsor Lancers (7-4) on Wednesday before travelling to London, Ont., to face the Western Mustangs (8-3) on Saturday.

- on Wednesday night against Windsor, the Hawks will host their annual Shoot for the Cure game with all proceeds raised during the night going to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation
- fans who wear pink to the game can get in for free
- donations will be collected at the gate while a fundraising bake sale and raffle for a pink ball autographed by the women’s team will also be going on during the night

- the Hawks have had a successful 2016 so far, including a sweep of their Northern Ontario road trip last weekend against the Nipissing Lakers and the Laurentian Voyageurs
- Windsor enters Wednesday’s matchup coming off their fourth loss of the season, a 68-62 setback to the nationally-ranked McMaster Marauders
- the Mustangs have been rolling since the calendar turned as they have won four consecutive games, including road wins over the Brock Badgers and Maruaders last weekend
- Laurier will be looking to split their season series with Windsor, the five-time national champions, for the second consecutive year after they lost 85-80 on the road in their season opener
- the Hawks will also be looking to split with the Mustangs after falling 80-61 on the road in the opening week of the season

Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks (6-5)

G Kaitlyn Schenck (Kitchener, Ont.)
- the fourth year guard recently became the seventh player in team history to eclipse 600 points for their career as she has 621 points, 29 back of sixth place Whitney Ellenor
- over her last three games, Schenck is averaging 12.3 points per game while also getting her teammates involved, dolling out 2.3 assists per contest

G Irena Rynkiewicz (Mississauga, Ont.)
- the walk-on freshman has become a solid contributor for head coach PAUL FALCO’s squad since the holiday break
- Rynkiewicz has demonstrated a knack for efficient scoring as she is shooting 50 percent from the floor in 2016, averaging 7.3 points per game in the four contests in the New Year

Windsor Lancers (7-4)

F Cheyanne Roger (Etobicoke, Ont.)
- a big presence up front for the Lancers, this third year forward is averaging a double-double per game at 14.1 points and 10.4 rebounds per game

F Andrea Kiss (Tecumseh, Ont.)
- another presence in the front court, the fourth year forward averages 13.3 points and 9.5 rebounds per game

Western Mustangs (8-3)

G Mackenzie Puklicz (London, Ont.)
- third year guard has been one of the best players in the OUA this season, averaging 18.3 points per game, third best in the conference

G Caroline Wolynski (London, Ont.)
- the fifth year guard helps form one of the most dangerous backcourts in the league as she averages 13.7 points per game
