THE SKINNY
With four losses in their last five games, the Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks (5-0-4-1) will look to enter the Winter break on a winning note as they host the York Lions (2-2-5-1) on Sunday night.

NEED TO KNOW
- after a great start to the season, the young Hawks have hit a rough patch and are on a two-game losing streak heading into Sunday’s game following a 4-3 setback against the Waterloo Warriors last weekend
- York is coming off their best weekend of the season as they shutout both the Ryerson Rams and the nationally-ranked Toronto Varsity Blues
- these two teams met earlier this season with York rallying to post a 4-3 shootout victory over the Hawks in Toronto
- Laurier enters their fall finale holding down the seventh seed in the OUA with 16 points while York is tied for tenth with 11 points

F Madison MacCulloch (Toronto)
- the rookie forward has been one of the Hawks top offensive threats this season as she four goals to sit second on the team in goal scoring
- netted her fourth goal of the season in last weekend’s loss to Waterloo

D Cassandra Calabrese (Brooklin, Ont.)
- rookie defenceman has logged big minutes for the Golden Hawks already in her young career and has become one of head coach RICK OSBORNE’s go-to blueliners

York Lions (2-2-5-1)

G Megan Lee (Orillia, Ont.)
- fifth year goaltender is the reigning CIS Female Athlete of the Week after recording back-to-back shutouts last weekend

F Rianna Langford (Collingwood, Ont.)
- fourth year forward led York to their 4-0 win over Ryerson last weekend as she scored a pair of goals, including the game-winner, in the victory
