With regards to the women's lacrosse gold medal, there successful season was topped off with a trip to Kingston for the OUA Championship. With victories in the round-robin play the women then were set to play the undefeated UofT squad in the gold-medal match. After battling all day and exchanging leads, the lady hawks were led to victory by captain Emily Watson who scored the winning goal in the 10-9 win.
