WATERLOO, Ont. (April 3, 2012) - Tuesday morning, Wilfrid Laurier University's Department of Athletics and Recreation hosted its annual Recreation Student Leader & Student Staff Brunch recognizing all their achievements over the past year.
This past year was Athletics and Recreation's most successful to date as it saw the largest registration for intramurals, the largest number of visitors each week in all our facilities, the largest number of people per day using the fitness centre as well as the busiest open recreation gym time for students. It was with the hard work and dedication of all our student staff that this is made possible. Our student staff spent countless hours working towards every service that is provided to allow for the most positive experience for all participants.
Students also had the opportunity to listen to speeches made by Leanne Holland-Brown, Dean of Students, as well as PETER BAXTER, Director of Athletics and Recreation.
