WATERLOO, Ont. (February 10, 2012) - The Wilfrid Laurier Department of Athletics and Recreation is pleased to announce the addition of Wendy Webb
as the department's new Administrative Assistant.
Originally a graduate of Mount Allison University, Webb brings 12 years of experience in various administrative roles to the department. For the past nine years, she has worked in two different positions here at Wilfrid Laurier. Since 2003, she has worked with Dr. Rhoda Howard-Hassmann, the Canada Research Chair of International Human Rights and in 2010, she took on the role as administrative assistant for Lauriers International Migration Research Centre.
"Wendy comes to the Department Athletics and Recreation team with a wealth of administrative experience gained at three universities, including ours," stated PETER BAXTER
, Director of Athletics and Recreation. "As a regular user of our fitness centre, she will bring an important perspective to ensure quality service to students, faculty and staff."
Webb will assume her new role beginning on February 21.
