Pat Kitchen and Brittany Shaw are headed to Egypt to represent Canada.
TORONTO - Almost 70 Canadians are getting ready to travel to Alexandria, Egypt for Rescue 2010 to represent their country at the World Lifesaving Championships. Wilfrid Laurier's Associate Director, Recreation & Facilities PAT KITCHEN
will be accompanying the team as the Lifesaving Society's National Sport Commissioner. Swimming varsity athlete Brittany Shaw
will be part of the 12-member team.

Rescue 2010 is hosted by the Egyptian Diving and Lifesaving Federation from October 2nd to 17th, 2010 on behalf of the International Life Saving Federation. To date, over 3,700 participants are registered for Rescue 2010 which includes:
• 5 World Lifesaving Championships: National Teams, Interclub Open, Masters, Surfboat, and IRB
• ILS Meetings: Board of Directors Commissions, Committees
• ILS Centennial Gala Dinner
• National Beach/Surf Lifesaving Championships for youngsters
