She also recently won a provincial gold medal at the OBA championships as her club team Blessed Sacrament won the girls Division 1 final.
“Anna will have an immediate impact on our team,” said coach Falco. “She is a strong defender and rebounder, runs the floor well, and can score both inside and out. She has played in many high-level pressure packed games and this experience should help her with the transition to the CIS game.”

This past season Alena was captain and MVP of the Berkshire basketball team and she was also a stand-out in previous years at Holy Trinity in Oakville where she was named athlete of the year and a basketball MVP and all-star.
“Alena is an excellent athlete who will fit in well with our philosophy of playing an up-tempo brand of basketball here at Laurier," said coach Falco. "She has a great attitude and is eager to learn and develop her game.”

Nicole captured an OFSAA ‘quad A’ bronze medal at WCI this past season, was voted as a first team league all-star and was also a member of the KW Lightning club team.
“Nicole is a product of the excellent teaching that Coach Ranton and Coach Nickel have provided for years now at WCI. She has a solid fundamental skill base and a good knowledge of the game,” said Falco. Aimee Van Dam
