Come and try out for the varsity Cross Country team
An open tryout for the Golden Hawk cross country team will take place on Tuesday, August 31st from 6:30 p.m. at Bechtel Park. Tryouts are open to all currently enrolled Laurier students. Queen's University played host to the 2009 CIS Championships. The historic Fort Henry Hill in Kingston was the location that provided the athletes with a world class cross country course that included rolling hills for the athletes and open views for the fans. This Saturday (11/14/2009) the Wilfrid Laurier Cross Country Team will compete at the CIS Championships on the campus of Queens University in Kingston, Ontario.This will be the first time for Laurier to have a men’s team represented at the CIS Cross Country Championships. The men’s race will begin at 1:45 p.m. and will be ten kilometers in length.Go Hawks!
