WLU has a climbing wall! The indoor climbing wall at the A.C. is specifically designed for teaching basic climbing and mountaineering skills. The wall reaches 25ft and simulates many natural contours and foot holds. Our indoor rock climbing gym is a great place for new climbers to start. Our routes are frequently updated that will suit the needs of beginner climbers and experienced climbers. You can take a lesson for a relatively low fee, which includes all of the equipment you'll need--harness, shoes, carabineer, belay device.
The wall entrance is located on the lower level of the A.C. Go past the Hawk Desk and change rooms, to the end of the hallway and turn left. There is also a viewing area on the second floor opposite to the washrooms, near the King St. Exit. Come by and check us out. Our qualified and experienced staff are looking forward to seeing you.
