Membership Information


Hawk Desk

The Hawk Desk is located at the entrance of the Athletic Complex. This customer service hub is open whenever the facility is open, and the Hawk Desk staff are always willing to help. Call (ext. 3803) or visit the Hawk Desk with any concerns or questions, including:

  • Memberships
  • Locker and equipment rental
  • Hours of operation
  • Varsity Ticket Purchases
  • Squash Court Bookings
  • And any other Athletic and Recreation inquiries

    Memberships

    A valid Laurier OneCard serves as an Athletics and Recreation membership for all full and part-time students. With a OneCard membership, students can sign out a lock to utilize our day use lockers each time they visit our facilities.

    Lockers can also rented at a cost (half & full lockers) at the Athletic Complex Hawk Desk, however the number of lockers available is limited.  Lockers must be cleared out by the end of the rented term a member has purchased for, listed in the rental agreement.  If lockers are not cleared out, a $10 fee will be charged.  Please see locker rental information below.

    A Towel Service can be purchased at a cost (see below) at the Athletic Complex Hawk Desk.  This service can be purchased for a daily or monthly.  In order to obtain a towel from our Equipment Desk any student or member must have purchased this service.

    Faculty, staff, alumni and community members can purchase an Athletics and Recreation membership from the Hawk Desk. Alumni must present their alumni card in order to qualify for the applicable discount.  
    If you were to lose your facility membership card, a fee of $20 is required to replace any lost cards.  Students who lose their Laurier One Card must obtain a new card from the One Card Office, located in the Fred Nichols Campus Centre. All members and students MUST swipe their access card, or one card to obtain entry into any of our facilities (Athletic Complex, Stadium or Alumni Field).  Failure to swipe your card, or not have your card when entering our facilities will result admittance being denied.

    *Family is defined as two partners living together and dependent children that live at home.
    **Terms are as follows: Fall (Sept.-Dec.), Winter (Jan.-Apr.) and Summer (May-Aug.).

    Day passes to the facility are $10.00

    All annual memberships become available May 1st of the year and expire April 30th. Visiting university student rates are available during the summer term, and students must present their student cards
