Alumni Field Located on the East side of Waterloo campus Home to Golden Hawk: soccer and intramural programs USER GUIDELINES Users must receive prior approval from the Department of Athletics and Recreation before bringing any portable nets or heavy equipment on the field (balls excluded). To check the availability of open time on the field for the upcoming week, please refer to the posted schedule. Open time is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please respect other users. AVAILABLE TO: STUDENTS ONLY: during Fall and Winter terms (third week of August to end of April) EXTERNAL GROUPS: May 1 (end of exams) to August 20 (third week of August) RENTAL AND BOOKING INFORMATION The
prices listed are estimates and may vary depending on the nature and extent of
the session. These prices are also applicable for non-Laurier events and
organizations. Please check the availability of the facility by viewing the Facility
Usage Schedule. Should the time desired be available, submit a Booking
Request Form online. PLEASE COMPLETE SESSIONS ON TIME All user
groups are booked back-to-back to accommodate as many as possible. Please show
patience and understanding so staff are able to show good service to all users.
All user groups MUST be out of the reserved activity area five minutes prior to
the end of the time on their contract. EMERGENCIES AND FIRST AID All
Athletic Complex staff are First Aid and CPR-certified, and are able to respond
to any and all injuries at the Athletic Complex or on Alumni Field. If you or
any member of your group is injured or has a medical-related problem, please
contact the Hawk Desk at the entrance to the Athletic Complex. From there,
staff can dispatch Emergency Medical Services if required. If the Athletic
Complex is not open or staff cannot be accessed, users can use the Emergency
Pull Station at the North-West corner of Alumni Field to reach Campus Safety
and Security. |
