Waterloo Memorial Recreation Complex and Sun Life Financial Arena Located on Father Davis Drive in Waterloo Home to Golden Hawk: hockey and intramural
programs The
Waterloo Memorial Recreation Complex opened in September, 1993, and is owned
and operated by the City of Waterloo. Its facilities are used by the Waterloo
community for a multitude of purposes. Within
the Complex, the Sun Life Financial Arena can be found, and its Olympic-size
ice surface (30m x 60m) provides a perfect location for Golden Hawk hockey and
intramural programs to thrive. The space provides 3399 seats and a
standing-surface area for 913. The building also offers six adjoining dressing
rooms including custom-designed rooms for the Golden Hawks. The features of the Waterloo Memorial
Recreation Complex include:
