Also known as spinning, indoor group cycling, or power pacing, Cycle Fit is a great way to get a high-intensity workout. Cycle Fit classes simulate riding flats, hills and climbs in combination with fun drills that will improve your cardio and keep you toned.
Registering for the Cycle Fit program grants you access to attend any of the numerous Cycle Fit classes offered in the schedule for only $57 + HST.
Double Play Pass Vary your workout and save money! Register for the Double Play Pass to select two of the Wellness, Cycle Fit or Climbing Wall programs. Specify which two programs you wish to select for only $110 + HST!
CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Advanced Intensive This class is designed to give a power packed workout to our athletes and more advanced fitness level participants however, students of all fitness levels are encouraged to try it out! This class will focus on interval work and will pay particular attention to techniques that are designed to challenge one’s endurance and their speed, and power on the bike.
Cycle Classes The cycle classes all vary in difficulty level depending on the instructor. Each cycle class offers a different combination of drills that will challenge your cardiovascular system in ways that you probably would not be able to on your own. Our instructors all have a unique teaching styles and music preference which is why it’s easy to find the cycle classes you prefer. Come out, get yourself fitted on a bike and ride your way to a new, healthier you!

Wilfrid Laurier University’s Department of Athletics & Recreation is home to varsity sports as well as numerous intramural, recreation & fitness programs. Over 6,000 students at Laurier participate in 30 intramural sports and 40 recreational programs annually.
All Fitness and Recreational classes and instruction require an additional fee to assist with the instructional component to the class. Registration takes place early in the term through an online process.
