Golden Hawk Leader In Training Camp
The Leaders-In-Training program offers individuals aged 13-16 years a unique experience as they will develop their leadership and teamwork skills through fun, interactive activities. LIT’s will also get the opportunity to shadow counsellors and lead activities for the younger campers.
The LIT program is meant to introduce the fundamentals of leadership in the hopes that they may apply these skills to their everyday life and future aspirations.
Week one involves a focus on a variety of skills and experiences to prepare them for working with campers. Week two involves working as a volunteer with the camp, applying the skills and experiences hands-on.
Under the guidance of specialized session leaders, including a Camp Coordinator, LIT’s will get the opportunity to experience a number of excellent workshops.
