The men's baseball team rose back to prominence in 2009 thanks to contributions from key players including the OUA Rookie of the Year Andrew Greenberg. The young starting pitcher competed in nine games, winning two including a shutout over the course of 48 innings. Greenberg also registered 22 strikeouts and earned the Laurier Rich Newbrough Male Rookie of the Year award.
